A message about Community Service...
Hey everyone! So did you know that March is Service Month for CTK YAM? We're already off to a good start. To begin, we've made and delivered 500 sandwiches to feed hungry men at shelters throughout Atlanta. Just this Saturday our young adults were fast at work on the Habitat for Humanity Project. Not a bad start, right? But wait there's more!...
This coming week we'll head back over to NurseCare of Buckhead to host Bingo. This commitment is perhaps our longest running service event within CTK YAM. So with that, let's bring new energy and new people to the residents at NurseCare. Just an hour on Monday evening (3/10) can make the largest impact on another.
Also this month we have not one, but TWO outings at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This another great way to get involved, make an impact, and give something back to those who are in need. Check out both events on March 13 and March 27.
Lastly, we are offering a brand new event - an ice-cream social at the Gift of Grace house on March 30. We're looking for a few good men and women to spend some quality time with the women residents of this house. We'll be featuring a build-your-own sundae bar and will be planting flowers and plants to usher in the spring season.
